Old Age Pension Not Received
If you have not received your approved SASSA older person grant payment, call your bank’s customer service number to inquire about your payment transaction for the following month. You can also check the reasons for not receiving the SASSA payment to make an educated decision based on common factors. Older Person Grant Status Declined
If your SASSA old age grant status is declined, it means your application didn’t meet the eligibility criteria. If you believe you qualify for the older person grant and SASSA’s decision was incorrect, you can appeal by following these steps. Submit your appeal to SASSA, and the Department of Social Development will process it for each denied month.
- Visit the SASSA appeal for Old Age Grant at https://srdstatus.co.za/appeal-sassa/
- Provide your ID number and the cellphone number registered with your application.
- Enter your 13-digit, bar-coded identity document (ID) for verification.
- Insert the PIN code received on your cellphone linked with your application.
- Select the month for which you want to appeal SASSA for the declined old age grant.
- Provide the reason for appealing SASSA’s decline decision.
- Click the Submit button to send your appeal and wait for the approval message.
SASSA Old Age Grant Application Pending
If your SASSA Older Person Grant Status is Pending, it means your application hasn’t been processed yet. You can wait for 30 to 60 days for a final decision, and stay updated with Sassa status check. If documents are missing, update your SASSA application with all required details, including necessary documents and answers to the screening questionnaire.
