SASSA Disability Payment Not Received
If you haven’t received your disability grant payment for this month, contact your bank service to check on delay issues and consult about not being paid for the following month or the previous month, whether it’s a system problem or another issue that caused SASSA payment not received.
You must check your status and contact the SASSA helpline to confirm whether your payment method is accurate and your bank details are connected with SASSA. If they are not, you should change SASSA bank details to easily collect your disability payments in your bank account every month.
You must ensure there is no conflict when choosing between SASSA Care Dependency and Disability Care for individuals under 18 who require permanent care due to a disability. The primary caregiver can apply for the SASSA Care Dependency Grant, while the Permanent Disability allowance supports individuals who are 18 years or older and require assistance for more than 12 months.
Notice: If you have applied for both the Disability and Care Dependency grants, SASSA system will automatically flag this as a violation of the rules.

The pending status for SASSA’s Disability Grant typically lasts for up to 14 days (two weeks) from the application date. If you receive a pending SASSA reapplication, please proceed accordingly to get your grant reinstated.
